spacious place
great deal for an extended stay in the area about 3 miles from the beach. the area is real quiet with a jacuzzi and swimming pool located on a golf course.
remember there is a full kitchen so it would benefit to bring items like coffee etc

True Blue- not the best
First, you can barely find the place to check in it is so small and hidden. Next, the road into the resort is poorly marked and well hidden. Upon opening our door we were greeted by the cocktail table upside down on the living room floor with one broken leg. I immediately called the number given me, left a msg, but it was still there the day we checked out. The master bed was uncomfortable (2 twins pushed together)and sheets were not even "fitted" so 1/2 the time the mattress was showing when we slept. No deal for patrons on golf, pro was very snooty when I asked about this. Next time I go back to Pawley’s Island Plantation!!
Traveler's tip on dining
Go to Oliver’s Lodge one night for dinner and to Fontinelli’s (best Italian, hands down). Both are in Murrells Inlet.

Pawley’s
Great villas at True Blue. There are bargains to be found. If you’re looking to play golf, True Blue and Caledonia are as good as any Myrtle Beach course without all of the crowds.
Traveler's tip on dining
Make the short trip to Murrell’s Inlet and enjoy the smaller seafood restaurants there. They’re cheaper and better than the Myrtle Beach tourist traps.
