Very nice hotel - excellent location

Nice hotel - we had a superior room with a balcony. Room not large - bath not large but adequate and nice - not luxury but for price fairly nice. View was pleasant but can’t see main part of old city. On Avenida metro easy to get around. Neighborhood on hill above hotel one of the nicest in city. Overall - very good hotel. The restaurant in hotel a little ’Mafia’ feeling quest wise - we went to the sister hotel next door or out into the city. You can’t lose with this hotel - staff very good. I would stay here again - we had two single beds push together - I think most rooms have two single beds that can be made into a King if you prefer - so stay - enjoy!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Be adventurous and explore city - it grows on you and becomes more and more attractive and charming the more you see of it - we left really loving Lisboa!

I wouldn’t hesitate to use this hotel again.

The hotel was well maintained, the rooms clean and tidy and the services very good. The staff were friendly and helpfull. The location of the hotel was relevant for my purposes and although there were road works happening in front of the main entrance at the time of my stay, they didn’t overly impact on access.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

There are some very good restaurants and bars in fairly close proximity to the hotel. The bar and restaurant connected to the hotel is a little expensive and somewhat exclusive in nature, so I’d avoid going there to dine or drink.

Perfect place to stay!

Desk folks were friendly - no bellhops - spoke good English - free internet in lobby - pool was lovely - lounge chairs extremely comfy - no charge for pool towels - no extra charges for anything - note: no hairdryer in room - beds were sublime - firm mattress, medium soft pillows, and bed linens to die for! location a short (5 minute) walk to Avenida metro station - or a 15 minute walk to Restauradores square where the tourism office is located - Room for 2 very small but comfortable - very modern - bath/shower hardware tricky but workable - safe / alarm clock likewise - no drawer space but ample hang-up room and hangers in wardrobe - no street noise at night and had room darkening shades - be Careful if taking a taxi from airport - we thought we were in a taxi but it had no meter . . . turned out to be a 30 Euro limo ride instead of a 10 Euro taxi ride - make sure you take a taxi with a meter!!! meter will start around 3 Euros (extra charges for people / baggage) but should end up around 9 euros to hotel from airport -
