Life on the beach
Balboa Inn was a treat. Unique. A quite neighborhood, friendly and helpful staff. I had a bright sunny room and enjoyed waking up with the windows opened and the breeze blowing off the beach. Delightful.

Never again!
This hotel has no AC and if you leave the windows open you get the noice from the street and it is LOUD! The rooms are very very small. The hotel website is not what is real.

Very disappointing experience
After visiting the web site we were expecting a fairly decent room and we were totally disappointed with the sub-standard room we got: small room with no window except for a small window next to the ceiling. The room was clean, but cavernous and noisy (next to the restaurant and utilities room).
