Quiet, quiant uniquely l;ocated Hotel.
My wife and I found the location of this Hotel a plus, since it was not in main tourist locations, yet with easy access to the Vaporetta (Water bus sytem) we could access everything easily. We enjoyed the staff, helpful with all our inquiries, and breakfast was a typical European Continental style.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Get to know and understand the vaporetta (water bus) system early in your stay so you can maximiaze your days.

Good Hotel in Interesting Part of Town
A bit off the beaten track, which is good in Venice -- and youre not far from Campo Santa Margarita, the Zattere and a street that will take you straight to the traghetto across the Grand Canal. As for the hotel, its perfectly adequate. Not a lot of thrills, but a fine place to bed down. Its Venice -- what are you doing in your hotel anyway?

Great Find
Although not truly a four star (more like a three), this was a great stay for the price and location. A short walk from one of the vaporetto stops, and you can get anywhere from there. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. The double room we had was adequate, but was not any of the ones featured in the pictures. Dont expect a canal view. The breakfast was great (coffee, meats, cheeses, cereal, breads, yogurt). The room was a good size with a decent bathroom.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
For lunch, stop at any of the cafes and get a sandwich or slice to go (only a few euros). You will save time and money. Definitely go see Piazza San Marco. The elevator to the top of the bell tower is well worth the view. A side trip to Murano for glass shopping and lunch was a great way to spend a few hours. Gondola rides are expensive, but be sure to negotiate price and length of trip (they are willing to work with you).
