Great airport hotel
No, its not the quaint European hotel, but for the last night of a two week trip, it was perfect. The rooms were larger then what we had been staying in, modern and clean. From Milan, we took the Malpensa Express to the airport and the hotel shuttle picked us up. The next morning the shuttle took us back at 5 am to make our 7 am flight back to the US. There was complimentary pastries and coffee in the lobby. Dinner in the restaurant the night before was adequate. I would definitely use this airport hotel again.

New and near Malpensa Airport. Cafe and bar stay open late. Free Van to airport.
This is a brand new hotel. It’s location and amenities should make for an ideal situation. When we stayed there they had just opened. They were eager to fill the hotel so we got a great price. The restaurant staff was not smooth by any means and the food was not spectacular. But the bar and cafe stayed open late so we were able to get a meal and a drink after a long train ride and a long cab ride from the train station.

Airport hotel
Our stay at Novotel in Milan was very comfortable. We had a problem with the air conditioning not working , but someone came right up & fixed it. Location to airport was perfect - free shuttle service to the airport. The hotel recommended a very wonderful restaurant nearby for lunch & the hotel restaurant was fine for dinner. Other than that nothing is close & you need to drive into Milan for any other touring, shopping, dining.
