great hotel lousy restauraunt
I like this hotel its always clean and comfortable.However the restaurant is overpriced and the food is lousy.on two different stays i paid for french toast that anybody could cook and two times they sent it out black as coal

Quaint charm and a step into the past
This hotel has been renovated and is very comfortable, but its charm lies in its past and the architecture and interesting, lovely appointments "from the past".
The setting and ambiance of this hotel are absolutely lovely. My only suggestion is that travelers include mirrors in their luggage....our suite only contained one medium sized mirror in the bathroon....only one person can easily dress at a time.

Nice place to stay
Nice older hotel close to downtown Augusta. Staff helpful, but room cleaners need better training and supervision. Would stay there again...great Sunday brunch.
