Not Impressed
I have been to the Sky Hotel before, well actually the bar there for drinks. I booked my stay expecting to enjoy a night at that bar and the hot tubs, when we arrived nothing was told to us at check in that the bar and pool area were closed for an employee party all week. That was very disappointing. I wouldn’t have booked this hotel at all. On top of that the rooms were exceptionally small and the bathrooms were even smaller and outdated. Overall, the price I paid for 1 night wasn’t even close to the value I was hoping to get. Not worth the $$, even for Aspen.

This hotel is dirty,
Headboard and linens were not satisfactory. White was a very poor choice. Headboard specifically was stained on both beds in our room, just gross.

The sky hotel needs to be refurbished
I guess the Sky hotel was nice once upon a time but it needs to be refurbished or at least cleaned. The common area rugs are filthy, the pool tiles are coming off and the common area just need to be cleaned. Our first room felt like we were in a Motel 6 - we had no privacy. Our second room was more private but tiny. The outdoor fireplace is nice, the beds are comfortable and most of the staff was nice. However I think I’ll stay somewhere else next time I’m in Aspen
