Boston-Brockton Holiday Inn
I don’t know if I would necessarily recommend this hotel to anyone. The area feels a bit shady and my non smoking room felt like people had been smoking in it while I was out sight seeing. There was a family reunion of some sort going on, and they were extremely loud. You could hear everything through the walls. The only friendly face was the receptionist who was from either Germany or Austria, who was extremely pleasant. Other than that, I rate this hotel below average except for the one receptionist. Next time I should stay in the city or cape cod but not in Brockton.

Okay for the money
It was just a bit inconvenient to get on the "T" to head into Boston because we had to take the commuter bus from there to the first "T" station. It was okay but hampered how quickly we could get to our destination. We would not stay there again just because Brockton itself is kind of run down. But for sleeping and showering, it serves the purpose. Next time we will stay closer to Boston and get a hotel with a continental breakfast since food is very expensive in Boston. Good, but expensive. The meal we had in the grill at the hotel was very tasty.
This is not a hotel to spend time together in a resort type or vacation type setting. There is nothing of interest in Brockton to do. But being in Brockton puts you closer to Plymouth and to Cape Cod if you choose to go there.
