Fine for one night
This hotel was fine for one night. The room was small, but the beds were comfortable.

Good but Smelly
The hotel is Ok, specially for the price. I would stay there again if I was looking into saving money. My only comment is that the room smelled like a dog house. The room was fine, king bed, clean, but it was hard to put up with that smell.

Run Down & Tired
If you feel that way, this hotel won’t relax you much. But for what we paid, I can’t complain much. But here I am. Reservation was made on Expedia, asked for a non-smoking room. Walked into the room (or tried to) and about got knocked over by the stale smoke stench. HOWEVER...we got a different room. Clean and smelled fine. Switch in bathroom is a light/fan combo. Very annoying and loud fan. No light in small area outside bathroom where the wall mirror was. I don’t care, but my wife hated it...said the mirror is useless if you can’t see yourself. Door to rooms exit outside. Not that big a deal except that you could see daylight under the door which, to me, means bugs can walk right in. We didn’t see any bugs, though. I’d say if you’re looking for a cheap quick overnight stay, it’s OK. I’d call the hotel at some point after making the online reservation (I should do this no matter what hotel it is) to make sure they have you down for what kind of room you want. Not the hotels fault, I don’t think. I run into room request from online reservations are often not right. So there you go. We went for a concert in downtown Iowa City. This was very close and convenient.
