Needs upgrading
Unfortunately the place smelled musty, had no pool, and the TV remote did not work. The staff tried to help, but it was not satisfactory.

old hotel
There was no elevator! All of the rugs, curtains, furniture, and bathroom fixtures were old and had not been renovated for a very long time. The stay was comfortable enough but not relaxing because you "wondered". The rooms had not been well vacuumed but we were in a hurry to get in so they may have rushed the cleaning. The free continental breakfast was very nice, especially the waffles. The staff was courteous.

Terrible
Hotel was chosen simply for location, I am not familiar at all with this area. There were ants all over the bathroom, the staff person said that was common for the area. What? never heard of ant traps? A large group of what appeared to be drug users seem to stay permanently at the hotel. They used the side exit area as their personal porch. Whatever the time of day you could not enter or leave without stepping over them. They literally had the area blocked. Very uncomfortable. Hotel staff did nothing when this was mentioned. The room was listed as having a small refrigerator, it did not, when asked staff responded that they were being phased out. Air conditioner only worked slightly when put on full blast, tv remote did not work at all. None of our concerns were addressed by staff on duty.
Do not under any circumstances take small children to this hotel.
