Nice place to use as base station for Worchester
Standard lodgings, pretty much, but the price is right and the beds are OK. There are some neat state parks nearby (Purgatory Chasm was a fun, strenuous, and beautiful hike), and Worchester is about a 20 min. drive away. There’s a great pizza/Italian place called "Tony’s" a few blocks away that I recommend very highly. The staff were attentive, though not assertive about it-- ask for it, I mean. The "grounds" are nice and well maintained-- I killed a pleasant hour or two with a book on one of their benches. Still, it’s pretty rural, so if you want to see a movie or do some shopping, you’re probably going to need to go into Worchester, or Milbury.
