A beautiful hotel, not so tasty breakfast
Staying at Hotel Le Parc in Quito is a good choice. It is located in a wonderful neighborhood, ideal for business travelers. It is a beautiful park a block from the hotel, so you can do morning exercises, if altitude allows you to do so. Our room was impressive! decorated with minimalist taste. There were two issues a traveler needs to consider: first, there are constructions nearby the hotel and the noise starts around 6:00 am. For me was not a problem, because I had so little time to explore Quito and that noise was like my wake-up call. The other thing was breakfast. Coming from Guayaquil, where I had a lot of options for breakfast, the buffet they offered was very limited and in low quantities. During that meal, service was almost non existent. Nevertheless, I had a wonderful time during my stay at Le Parc Hotel.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
It is a good idea to hire a local driver/guide to go to most attractions in Quito, especially if you want to go outside downtown. Ask always at the hotel reception for a trustworthy person; they always have someone who can gladly do that service

Wonderful hotel
It’s a really beautiful hotel. It’s modern, clean and well located. My room was big with 2 parts, the first one a living room and the second the bedroom. It also has big windows, with impressive views of the city. The hotel restaurant has Japanese food and it is very popular in the city. Le Park is in the north part of the city that means that it isn’t near to historical Centre, but it’s very easy to go with a taxi. Besides that, if you like jogging, it is very near to Metropolitan Park, the biggest park in the city.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Don’t loose your time going to Otavalo Market. It’s a long distance and there aren’t prices cheaper than the ones you can find in the City.
