Great Hotel

This is probably the most fun looking hotel I ever stayed at. All rooms are unique and it is a beautiful old building. I highly recommend it!

Great Place

I loved Lush hotel. Everyone was so very friendly and beyond helpful. We were a large group and Lush hotel accomdated us like no other hotel that we have been to yet. We had them set up a private tour of istanbul on a boat. They took care of everything from music, food, to sites. Amazing exprience. I would highly recommend Lush to everyone because it will make your time in Istanbul so much more enjoyable.

We would definitely go back to stay at Lush and highly recommend this hotel to other guests!

We had a wonderful experience at Lush and the hotel staff was extremely helpful. Our plans changed mid-honeymoon and we needed to rent a car to drive to the coast. The hotel staff quickly and kindly arranged a very reasonable car rental for us. We were able to pick up and drop off the vehicle at the hotel. Lush provided us with a very comfortable and welcoming experience in the wonderful hustle and bustle of Istanbul!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The Lush Hotel provided us with a wonderful location at the top of Istikal Caddessi (Taksim Square) with access to local transport, from which to explore neighborhoods (Cihangir) and other local tourist attractions. Its great rates for modern and uniquely designed rooms, including a tasty breakfast, really made this hotel a treasure.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location just off Taksim Square. The staff was professional and courteous. The rooms differ greatly in terms of their view and layout. My first roon had bunk beds and a view of a brick wall (no light whatsoever), even though I paid a little extra for a delux room. I asked for a different room and received a room with a queen size bed, but again with a view of a brick wall. Some rooms had great views. Great value, though, so on that basis I would recommend the hotel to a friend, but with the above qualification.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Make sure you check the brochure or the website, as they have pictures of each room in the hotel, and each room is different. I checked in at first and requested to change the room. When I checked other rooms, I discovered some rooms have terrible views and others have spectacular views.

Good hotel

Very comfortable. A little noisy at night from outside but to be expected given excellent location inside city. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Great Hotel, Great Location

Very happy with our stay here. Close to cool clubs, bars and restaurants with great views like 5 Kat and 360. Easy public transit to Sultanahmet without having to stay in the tourist trap zone.

Not impressed

First, I thought the service was poor. Although they seemed to try, their efforts were hampered by, unfortunately, incompetence. For example, they gave us bad directions, almost made us miss our flight, were consistently puzzled by requests for recommendations, and seemed uncomfortable speaking in english. Second, the pictures online make the hotel look a lot nicer than it actually is. It is a decent hotel, but, for the price, I think we could have done a lot better. Third, the shower was so small that you could barely move inside of it -- think a clear plastic coffin. On the upside, the location was convenient and the breakfast was decent

Nice hotel, but...

Lush Hotel has a great location just next to Taksim sqr, downtown Istanbul. However, due to the heavy traffic, it is extremely noisy till 3 am. Our room was nice and modern with all the expected amenities. The aircon in our room was not working properly, but otherwise staff was helpful and kind.
