Beautiful Setting
Lovely views, even from in the pool! Spa in hotel but we did not use it. Pool fantastic, with well-stocked bar. This is a new, well-done hotel, set away from any large cities. Restaurant very good food and service, with stunning sunset view. Great for quiet retreat, and for base for touring the area.
Hot Water springs and spas nearby, though we did not use them. Several beautiful hilltop towns nearby. Don’t miss Pitigliano or the magical Tarot Gardens of Niki de Saint Phalle about 1/2 hour drive (wonderful for kids and adults). If your kids are not swimmers, find somewhere else, that’s the activity for kids at the hotel.
