motel served it’s purpose
room was comfortable, staff helpfull, never got to use the pool as it was always full of kids, need adult only time.

you get what you pay for
this is a cheap, motel-style hotel. the free breakfast isnt too great, but waffles are included, so that’s a plus. My main complaint-- i asked for a non-smoking room and the lady at the counter assured me that it was nonsmoking. i got up to my floor, and although the rest of the 2nd floor seemed to be nonsmoking, someone pulled the no-smoking sign off my door (you can see the glue). And, there were ash trays and matches on the counters... the air was a bit stuffy, but since the sheets didnt smell like smoke and i was too tired to complain, i dealt with it (so i dont know how the staff would have reacted if i had complained).

Central location to west North Carolina at a great price
We were very please with the staff, cleaniness and location of the hotel. The rooms were a little larger and included a small refrigerator and microwave which was nice to have. It was much cheaper staying in Hendersonville and was centrally located to the Bilmore Estate and other different tourist attractions/cities, as well as the several National Forests’ trails and amazing waterfalls.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
We not only loved going to the Bilmore Estate (plan to spend the day) but also chimney rock, and the various National Forests parks, trails and waterfalls. The waterfalls (Sliding Rock, Waterwater, Bridal Veil and more) off US64 were amazing and worth a day of driving in the mountains and stopping at the different spots.
