Travelodge Grand Forks
Overall, the room was fine - as in any hotel, we took the bedspreads off - you never know if they are clean or not, beds were fine, bathroom was fine. But overall, the condition of the carpeting in the hallways and rooms was gross. Very dirty, stains everywhere, and stairwell walls (we were on the second floor) were filthy with dust and dirt. With all of the other work that was done to improve the hote, the should spring for new carpeting throughout. ps - breakfast was fine.

Excellent Grand Forks Value
We arrived way late on Friday night, and even though the Travel lodge way 100% booked, they had our room waiting for us. Second, even though the place is obviously older, and worn, it was clean. Finally, it was an excellent value. Some of the new places are twice as much. Swallow your pride. Save the money. If you dont need the money, donate it to a charity. We didnt use the pool, the continental breakfast was typical, and some of the patrons were a little noisey. It was the weekend in a college town after all.
