Excellent 5 star hotel at 4 star price.
This is a first class hotel, well located for business and leisure visitors with a wide range of services including restaurants that are all of a very high standard.
Try to avoid mid-summer unless it is essential, Cairo can be hot and sticky. Traffic conditions seem to have improved a little but they are still challenging, leave in plenty of time for your appointments and don’t be put off by the tatty appearance of the Black and White taxis, they are scruffy but they are cheap, plentiful and will nearly always get you there. If you can’t avoid crossing busy roads on foot, do so in the lee of some locals until you get the hang of it.

Cairo
Nice clean hotel with excellent restaurant choices. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The only draw backs were the rock hard beds and the difficulty of walking anywhere from there. Not that I would recommend walking in Cairo due to the massive amount of traffic and the frightening way they drive.
