older but okay
The Silvana was okay for a one night stopover. We were a little worried when we saw the location, but the property itself was clean and safe. The place is definitely older than anywhere else we stayed in Italy during our 8 day trip there in May 08. Shower (only) was tiny. Room was very dark.No windows. We did have our own balcony but not much of a view in the back of the building. And the door to it was so short that my husband bumped his head on the way in/out, and he is average height. There was no elevator which was noticeable when lugging bags upstairs. Desk persons were friendly but not as much English as at other hotels. Breakfast was way below standard.
