quiet and peaceful
we had a great stay, wonderful location for day trips then get back to quiet peaceful home away from home. Beach is only a short drive away with lots of access.

Will definitely go back to this hotel when we go back to Edisto.
While we were only at the villa for one night, we found it to be a pleasant experience. Nicely decorated and clean. Hotel staff were very accomodating by letting us into the villa an hour early so we could dress for a wedding. Highly recommend this place.

Edisto SC Family Resort
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Ridge. the room was spacious and although the room needed minor repairs, overall it was very nice. This would be nice for a fairly extended stay with the washer/dryer, dishwasher and equipped kitchen. The resort does not allow boats on the property, so if you’re planning to take a boat, inquire on where a trailer and/or boat can be stored. The resort is adjacent to the main marina and close to a smaller marina which sells supplies.
Traveler's tip on dining
Our best meals were cooked in the room. We tried two of the "nicer" restaurants on the island, and would have preffered to eat our own cooking. Service at the local restaurants was terrible, and the quality left little to be desired.
