Itchy Bed
Room looked clean enough, but the bed had something itchy (could see no ticks, though) that kept me up a long time. Next day I saw people kept dogs in their rooms.

Nothing exceptional
The front desk people are extremely friendly. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in the room. The carpets looked and felt dirty, dead roaches in the bathroom,and a stopped up commode. We ended up changing rooms at midnight because the front desk young man could not find a plunger! Now this room was a little cleaner but the air conditioner took forever to cool the room. I doubt I will ever stay there again or refer other people to this hotel.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you want to save money on the room so you can use it elsewhere..then this is the place for you. It is not convenient to the shopping malls, Padre Island, or restaurants, but it is convenient to downtown and Corpus Christi Beach.

get what u pay for
toilet was broken, first room was given floor was wet, they had to give us another room, but for the price is was okay stay and area was close to the beach and everything, so for that matter is was good, not great!
