Not impressed with hotel, but staff really awesome!
The Staff at this hotel were really really great! They went well out of their way to do anything possible to make my stay more enjoyable! The hotel is old and run down, and is desperate need of upgrades. The pool area looks really good, but I did not have a chance to use it. When I walked into my room (ground level) my window was open and the window did not lock, instead they had a stick there as a wedge (like you would put in your patio door). It was also -10 degrees celcius outside so my room was freezing. There was no happy medium when it came to the heat, it was either really hot or freezing in the room. I would wake up in the morning with a very dried out head because it was so hot in the room. The hotel is also a far distance from the airport, so it cost me $60 American just to get to the hotel. It is not a hotel that the cab drivers know, so be prepared for them to ask you for directions! The rooms were really old fashioned and are in desperate need of an upgrade, some new mattresses would go along way! I personally would not stay here again. Tust me and pay the extra 20 bucks for a better hotel!
