Good place to stay
I and my friend stayed in this hotel for three days as a vacation. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. Especially I loved their breakfast. The bus stop is close and Walmart is close as well. It is a walking distance to beach. If you have a car, it must be very convenient though.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Since the trolley (bus) doesn’t run after 8pm, you should walk or call a taxi at night.

One of the best
The staff was friendly and the room was great! Although the hotel is not located on the beach, it is centrally located and close to many attractions.

NOT UP TO COUNTRY INNS STANDARDS
My wife & I have stayed in numerous Country Inns & Suites in Helen, Ga., Savannah, Destin, St.Mary’s & Morrow but we have never been so disappointed as when we stayed at CI&S Panama City Beach. The room was dingy & smelled musty. There were cobwebs in the corners & stains on the floor, When the TV didn’t come on my wife insisted that I check with the front desk to see if another room was available. The Desk clerk came up & found a loose wire on the back of the TV & got it to come on. When we asked if another room was available the clerk asked specifically what was wrong. We told him it was dingy & musty & generally not up to Carlson or QI&S’s standards. He said that all of their room were just like it but he would tell the manager about it in the morning. We’re still waiting to hear from the manager. The hotel location is not that spectacular being behind the Krystal & Zaxby’s Chicken. Although it is only one block from Front Beach Rd with views of the Walmart parking lot, I think that I would opt for another chain’s property on Back Beach Road.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you are not staying at one of the highrise resort hotels on the beach, you will have to find a space in the limited public parking areas. I would suggest staying at one the nice hotels on Back Beach Road & purchasing a Tram Pass. They are quite inexpensive & there are many tram stops conviently located up & down the beach near most of the popular bars, restaurants & attractions.
