Rooms (we asked to be moved) reeked of mold and mildew
I would never stay at the motel again and recommend against it. The first room reeked of mildew and when we moved the shower curtain had to be replaced because it was moldy as well. We stayed the night because we were exhausted and the town was full. If there was a rating less than 1 I would give to this place

budget travel
If you’re only interested in price, you’re not going to do better than this . We were interested in nothing more than a clean place to sleep - and the price couldn’t be beat. It was perfectly fine.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Annie’s Kitchen, about 10 minutes away, is a real Roadfood find: friendly staff, good prices, and excellent food - especially the pies!Further afield but worth the drive is the Black Bear Bookstore - 50,000 titles.

Good location off the interstates, but rooms haven’t been updated in a while.
