The Plaza is fun for kids
The Plaza has a pool, which is a big plus if you have kids who like to swim. Friendly service. Clean rooms. Complimentary breakfast in the morning also a hit with kids who like sugar cereal and don’t get to eat it much at home! Convenient to the University and downtown.

Clean, Cheap Room - My Money in Vegas is for Gambling!
I stay at the Plaza all the time - the rooms are cheap and it’s "old school" Vegas, which I love. There’s no "style" here or fancy rooms - they are basic, no frills and clean - and that’s all I need when I go there. I want to spend my money at the tables - not on an expensive room that I won’t see each night until 4:00am! If you want super classy - stay somewhere else and pay the money - I’ll take the Plaza anytime!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The Fremont Street area has a ton of free entertainment on weekends with bands, street vendors and entertainers walking the enclosed area. There’s a huge movie complex and plenty of fun souvenir stores to pass the time. CSI also films a lot downtown, so you’re bound to catch a scene or two!
