Very cozy.
We experienced great service and the grounds are beautiful. Our room was very small. We requested a king bed and a bathtub and received a queen bed with a tiny shower.
Traveler's tip on dining
If you stay in Carmel, have dinner at Christopher’s restaurant. It is excellent from the atmosphere to the service and of course the food and wine.

A very nice last minute getaway
Hearing the sound of the ocean throughout the day and evening was fabulous! The morning inkeeper was very pleasant. Continental breakfast was plentiful but wished it had been more extensive. The afternoon cookies and free movie rental in the lobby was great. The bed was very comfortable but walls are very thin - you can hear your neighbor. The property is very beautiful and parking is available. I would definitely come back to visit.

Great Location
Great hotel, some rooms need to be updated. Very comfortable and clean. Close to beach and town, walked everywhere! They do not get your requested room type from Expedia for some reason, so we had a queen instead of king, but they moved us for our second night. Beautiful grounds, in great neighborhood.
