Words cannot describe how perfect this hotel is
La Estancia was simply amazing. The staff is amazing-friendly, knowledgeable, professional and truly concerned with meeting any needs you have. All the timeshare people at the airport and at the Mega grocery store try to scare you into staying at the sister hotel next door but we checked that one out and were shocked to realize what a better hotel La Estancia is. We had the whole place to ourselves-the pool, the beach, the quiet. However, next door they were crowded and it was obvious what a nicer hotel La Estancia is. It’s also a wonderful location because it is at the end of the row of hotels on the beach in Nuevo Vallarta and so hardly anyone walks by since the rest of the hotels are south of La Estancia. Also, for a delicious meal in addition to the hotel room service just walk up along the beach to the town of Bucerias and eat on the beach at El Gordo-it was the most amazing seafood meal we had on our trip and such a wonderful view of the ocean, and just a beautiful walk away from the hotel! The hotel rooms are beautiful, the room service menu is great, La Estancia is class all the way but still very inviting, even for a young couple like us. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this hotel-we truly didn’t want to leave.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The little grocery store at the hotel is handy but quite expensive and it’s much better to go the store called Mega which is down the road-too far to walk but a very cheap and short cab ride away and there we stocked up on some beer, snacks and delicious bakery goods that you can’t get at the hotel. So convenient and cheap!

Absolute finest in service, location and accomodations!
Villa La Estancia was one of the very finest resorts we have had the pleasure of visiting. The resort is exceptionally well appointed; spacious and finely constructed, but not opulent or extravagant, just quality, class and superior workmanship. The service is beyond fantastic - the staff is professional, yet personable and you soon feel like family. The location, with miles of sandy beach, jungle, the steep mountains, islands offshore and incredible sunsets combine to make this as close to heaven as you can get. Villa La Estancia is worthy of the best of ratings.

Unbelievably awesome!!!!
This is a Class AAA+ hotel! Immaculate, clean, friendly staff, spacious. The best part was we were only one of a few other parties there. We had the entire pool area to ourselves most of the time. Of course we went off peak season... highly recommended.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Beware of the time share people next door at the sister resort. "90 minutes" turned into 3 hours and they were rude. My wife got a free 60 min massage, I got $150.
