Bogota’s Hacienda Royal
Excellent hotel, friendly and attentive staff, easy walking distance to some excellent restaurants in the Usaquen district. Highly recommended.

Great Hotel
This hotel is attached to the mall. You go through a door and off you go shopping. They have good food and service in their restaurant. The pillows were a little bit too soft and the bed mattress was alittle to firm for our comfort. The room view was beautiful. The ceaning crew did a wonderful job making us welcome when we get abck to our rooms with chocolate treats. The gym was okay. They have free internet access in their business room on the first floor. Overall, we love this hotel but next time may request a frim pillow.

We had a taxi driver who spoke English and became our private tour guide because he was so knowledgeable with the history of Colombia

nice overall appearance, room in need of renovation
Location is good - direct entrance to Hacienda Santa Barbara Mall; overall impression very nice and elegant; welcome drink offered upon arrival. Breakfast ok. We were disappointed with room quality, though. When mentioning this to reception, we were told that apparently some but not all rooms are modernized - ours was not: suite royal with bed sofa (for our kids) in need to be replaced; clean but old bathroom; tiny bedroom where access to hotel safe meant having to step into the closet. For us, room quality did not justify the price. We were initially offered a "habitación superior" instead of the suite royal we had booked; this was corrected when we showed our booking. Reception friendly and helpful. Make sure to get renovated rooms.
