Excellent Location
We found the hotel to be well situated on the very modern pedestrian shopping area, just a short walk to the "Old City", and Roman ruins. The breakfast buffet was ample. The staff spoke English. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has central heating with no thermostat in the room for heat control. There was individual air conditioning control but we did not use the AC since we were there in November. The room was kept at a comfortable temperature. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time in Plovdiv and that was at least partly due to having a nice place to stay.
Traveler's tip on shopping
This hotel is in an upscale shopping district with lots of small boutiques to medium size stores. There was also a wide variety of dining options from cafes and pizza places to fancier restaurants. On the Sunday we arrived there was a lot of activity on the plaza outside the hotel with a band playing and a puppeteer performing for the children.
