A grand classic hotel
We arrived at the end of the film festival in Cannes. While the hotel was fully booked the first couple of days we were there, it was never crowded to the point of being unpleasant. The room was better than I expected. We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was uniformly very helpful and English was never a problem.

The beaches everywhere, the Chagall Museum in Nice, and the whole village of St. Paul.

Great Hotel - Services sooo expensive
The hotel was beautiful. A great location with wonderful rooms with plenty of everything. The only downside was the outragous costs for laundry services - $32 to clean a pair of jeans and $15 to get an undershirt washed. Breakfast buffet was nice but at $49 was way overpriced. Be careful in the town of Nice. We were robbed at the Mattise Museum in broad daylight.

Nice is a busy city that can be quite dangerous. We were robbed and had our car broken into. Avoid Nice at all costs !! Heard similar stories from other people.
