At the begining they told us that breakfast is included to the room price but when leaving it is not.

More than three stars! Id say a four star hotel!
This hotel is very, very nice. The lobby is spotless and welcoming, the front desk staff were magnificently helpful and well-informed, and the location -- if youre on the train -- is superb. The TGV is a one-hundred year walk away, yet youre not on the main street, so the train noise is wholly absent. Overall, the hotel itself couldnt be better, unless youre willing to pay $300 a night for a five star establishment. One reviewer commented about the noise. I was there on a Sunday night, and peace reigned. But I can imagine that the street might get noisy. Still, this hotel is far superior to many four star hotels Ive stayed in. Far superior. The beds are so-so (a little tired, I would say, and in need of a new mattress). But I slept well. And the rooms are quite spacious, even by European standards. An American staying here would be happy with the spaciousness of things. Free internet that worked well. Nice, big bathroom. Great staff. I unequivocally recommend this hotel!
Traveler's tip on dining
Theres a lovely restaurant around the corner called "Le Petit Chalet." Try it! Great food, friendly staff (surprise!), nice ambience, and quite reasonable.

Reception needs to learn about service
They made a mistake in charging a breakfast, but no apology. They told us that they sent a bill to IRS. When we said that we dont work for IRS, they said something in German and they did not apologize their mistake. Very rude attitude. They need to learn how to deal with customers in a more polite way.
