Chateau De La Chevre D Or

Rumor has it that Nietzsche- toward the end of his life- climbed one of the steep paths in the village of Eze and that the arduous nature of this ascent inspired him to write Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Close to the Nietzsche path- this Chateau and its breathtaking vantage point over the Mediterranean has less demanding activities in store for you- swimming a few lengths in a Roman pool in perfect harmony with nature- tennis- Indian massage and outstanding cuisine. The chef- Philippe Labbe- a former pupil of Bernard Loiseau- orchestrates the cuisine in three restaurants where the great French classics are paired with Mediterranean specialties. The property is closed for business during the year over the following dates- 01Nov09 - 05Feb10
