Great comfort after a hard day
Hotel Pegaso is a newly renovated hotel. The night we rented it we got a special deal, which was great for our budget. Its rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Amenities were excellent. We had arrived after a long day in Bergamo, and really wanted a night to relax, after several days of travel. Hotel reception were very helpful. Our desk manager spoke English. Room service was inexpensive. We were able to rent movies (as many as we wanted) for a nominal fee. A buffet breakfast is included, and it was excellent, including hot and cold foods, a wonderful variety. The only problem with the hotel is its location, which is right beside the A4, so if you opened a window it is noisy. Also, Stezzano is quite a way outside of central Bergamo. so if your plan is to locate at Hotel Pegaso, but to go back and forth into the upper town, you will need to allow about 45 minutes to get there. We were on our way out of the area, so this was not a problem for us, but it would have been if we wanted to spend a couple of days.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Take advantage of the free breakfast buffet - it’s really excellent. Room service is also good value.
