Not impressed
While the hotel’s public areas (restaurants, lobbies, etc.) were reasonably nice and the service was friendly, the rooms were awful. They don’t appear to have been improved for decades. The furniture, decor, and carpets are old and drab, the rooms smell of smoke, and, worst of all, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. We checked in late, and were uncomfortable enough to immediately request a different room. The second room was in worse condition than the first. As such, we checked out first thing in the morning.

So much to say.
Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard, Malta, has one of the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the pool was in excellent condition. I found the food services to be of the highest quality and the food, well, let’s just say I ate quite alot. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to enjoy a relaxing Mediterranean holiday.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Utilize the Maltese buses for the majority of your stay as taxis or rental cars can be expensive and unnecessary. Vallette to Mdina are buses 81, 84, and 80.

Worst ever
Malta is beautiful and I will most certainly return. However, the hotel was very disappointing. The advertising on its website is not accurate. To start, the SPA is depicted on the website is privatly owned and they do not allow children under the age of 16 into the indoor swimming pool. I would have liked to know that prior to selecting it for a family vacation spot. This was very disappointing because I was traveling with a 3 year old. Further, the hotel had reserved the outdoor pool for an entire evening for a private party. The inside of the hotel is substandard, the carpets were very dirty and the walls are very damaged. The rooms were very hot and the thermostat was locked and the management could not lower the temperature.
