Great Hotel with an Amazing View of the Okanagan Lake
The hotel was very conveniently located to downtown Penticton and close to the events center. The accomodations were very comfortable, clean and we had a great view of the lake. The restaurant on-site had wonderful food and we were told there were no reservations available for dinner however we did go over and we were able to eat in the bar and the service was great so be sure and check it out even if you are told it’s full. Unfortunately we did have two complaints. One was when we arrived, we were early for check-in, however we were told to come back in an hour and our room would be ready. We did return after an hour and our room was still not ready and we were told it would be another 2 hours however as we sat in the lobby waiting we saw many individuals checking in and getting their rooms ahead of us with no explaination given when we inquired at the front desk. The other thing to watch out for is if your room is located above the Barking Parrot Lounge you will definitely hear the noise from the bar late at night and we were on the 5th floor and this did keep us awake. I would suggest asking for a lake view room in the other section of the hotel away from the bar. The casino on-site is small and it was very busy while we were there so we had to wait to play a slot machine. All and All our stay was very nice and we would definitely stay there again.

Delightful place
upgraded to a higher floor. room was clean and comfortable. good restaurant the one problem was a high level of noise from the musical groups performing in the bar area at the beach. even with the door to the terrace fully closed, the noise was significant
