Good Choice, fun to be so close to the ballpark
It was a very convienient place to stay, close to everything we needed. Good food choices around, classy nightlife, Coras is a good place to go for breakfast. Its attached to the stadium which makes it convienient to go to baseball game. Friendly and helpful staff, over-all good service.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Being attatched to the ballpark makes this a baseball lovers perfect stay.

The Place to Stay in Downtown Toronto
The hotel hat a sort of retro decor to it that my family thought was very cool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room included valet parking and a breakfast tab. The experience was very enjoyable for all. They could speed up the seating process for breakfast. There seemed to not be enough staff for the amount of people waiting to be seated. We would definitely go back to this hotel
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Rogers centre, CN tower, Eatons centre, Union station, good selection of nearby restaurants.

Huge Disappointment
Very unimpressed. This is supposed to be the prestigious SkyDome Hotel, but was a let down in all ways. A real pain for parking, you need to drive around the other side of SkyDome to find the parking garage, and then driving underneath the whole of SkyDome to get to hotel parking area. To get to my room I had to walk down a hallway that was at least 200m of twists and turns... ridiculous!! To top that off the entire hallway was painted in "Slime Yellow" The rooms were really nothing special, havent been updated at all since the hotel opened (20 years ago?). Mold and mildew on counters and in bathtub/shower. Water from the taps didnt smell right. Hotel was as a whole a 2-3 star... not a 4 star

One-Night Stay
My wife and I drove up to Toronto for a Blue Jays game and were thrilled to be staying at the Renaissance, which is connected to the Rogers Centre. The hotel grounds were immaculate, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the lounge had excellent food and drinks (though the latter were on the pricier side). After the game, we headed back up to our room and were not disturbed by the din of fans leaving the stadium; it was as if we had the place to ourselves. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is interested in checking out downtown Toronto!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If youre staying at the Renaissance, take advantage of one of the taxis that pull up outside of the hotel. For ten dollars, take a taxi to the Parliament building located in Queens park. From there, it is a 15-20 minute walk to the Hockey Hall of Fame on Yonge Street. The harbor is only two blocks from there, and then you can return to the hotel and visit the CN Tower, which is adjacent to the Rogers Centre.

Good choice
The hotel was quite nice. The service at the desk and dinning area was great. Valet parking service is very bad - stay away or park yourself, as its not worth $30 a night.

Great Location for Baseball
Love baseball? Then this is the hotel for you. Rogers Stadium is excellent ballpark and the hotel is located within stadium making for an easy walk home after the game. Also centrally located within walking distance to much of the city. Will definitely be back.

This hotel isnt far from the night life in Toronto, pool couldve been a little more attractive and there isnt any continental breakfast. But overall, its really nice !!

Perfect for a one night stay.
Upon arriving at this hotel we were very excited. We thought it would be really cool to stay in the stadium. The lobby was very nice, and the customer service was ok. It was like a maze getting to our room which was on the 5th floor. Many many winding hallways. It made us a litte dizzy. Upon entering our corner room we noticed it was fairly small. (which was ok because we were only there one night) The layout was very strange. The bathroom was another story. The bathroom was HUGE. But not huge in a good way. One sink w/ very limited counter space, one toilet, and a tiny shower. You could probably fit 20 people in the bathroom, lots of unused space we could have used for the rest of the room. Overall for a one night stay i would suggest this hotel but only if its a decent price. When we were there all the prices at the hotels were very high because of festivities going on in Toronto. But if the price was right wed stay again.

Nice location
But, the hotel is set up in a way that getting to your room can sometimes be a chore. The hallways are winding and it oftentimes felt like you were going through a maze to get to your room.
Traveler's tip
Very close to all of the attractions that you are visiting Toronto for, but be prepared for the maze-like walk to your room

Bad Housekeeping
Had a bad experience with maid service - siad she would be there in an hour and three hours later (after 3 p.m.) the room was still not done!

Good experience
I just wanted to experience staying at this "Hotel in a stadium". My opinion is a bit biased because my initial room was not clean from the last guests. Mistakes do happen and the staff made up for it in a big way. I was given a suite which made my stay better than I hoped for.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you decide to check out the PATH (the underground shopping area), take a map with you.

Loved This Place
Upon arrival I was greeted professionaly and it was only up hill from there. My suite was quite impressive with an incredible view of the Toronto Blue Jays stadium. Room service was very efficient as well as the bar off of the lobby. The service was extremely inviting and all the staff polite and attentive. I would recommend this Hotel to any business person travleing through Toronto, especially during baseball season when the Blue jays are home.

Great service, great location.
The service was excellent, and the location great. During our stay, the swimming pool was quite dirty, and cold, so the children were somewhat disappointed. Overall though, a great place to stay in Toronto. The restaurant staff was great with the kids.
