The hotel lost in space
So, it is rarely the fault of the staff at the hotel for inaccurate information posted on their website. But when they know it is a problem to find their hotel, posting inaccurate GPS co-ordinates to their website only makes the problem worse. With my two young sons and wife in tow, after a long drive from France attempted to find this "airport hotel". It is not even in the same country as the name might suggest. Two hours of driving around Geneva (a small city) looking for it. One hour driving around Gex (the other side of the french border) using their GPS location puts you in the middle of that town. Phone calls to the hotel resulted in THE most unhelpful comments like... yes you are lost, that is not where this hotel is. When by chance, when all hope was lost and we were making our way back into Geneva to check in to another hotel without a booking, we caught sight of their neon sign by the side of the highway. On arrival I was upset by this wild goose chase that resulted in following their instructions. Only to be informed that most people get lost trying to find this hotel!! (Well at least I am not stupid then!) To calm us, they presented us with a complimentary drink at the bar. Nice, but the bar was already closed.
Traveler's tip
If you are foolhardy enough to choose this hotel. Take their shuttle service, "the Novette" from the airport and otherwise don’t trust them.
