Fantastic Place
We stayed at Parador for a weekend and it was fantastic. The service is great and the whole place is as well. The Hotel is on a hill with a view of the ocean and is inside a jungle/forest. A pool with a view of the ocean and a jakuzzi as well. Youll meet lizards at your doorstep. There is a 5 min. walk to an almost private beach and a 15min drive (hotel has a free shuttle) to the main beach. The food was great and service was always with a smile. Only complaint is the bath had some issues but even that was fixed when we called about it. Considered one of the best hotels in Manual Antonia by the locals as well.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The beach by the hotel and the main beach are both worth a visit

Loved it
Great hotel, great staff. We didnt have a single complaint. We found having a rental car was important in getting to other dinning options outside of the hotel. The free breakfast is excellent, but dinner is expensive. There are better dinner options on the road between Quepos and Manual Antonio.

A hotel near Manuel Antonio National Park where you can pamper yourself.
The hotel is casual but luxurious--infinity swimming pool and poolside bar, beautiful landscape (we sighted birds and iguanas while sitting outside for breakfast), comfortable rooms. The food offered in the dining room is uniformly superior and the staff is attentive.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Hotel Parador provides a free shuttle to Manuel Antonio National Park but it only runs several times a day. Another worthwhile visit while near Quepos: the butterfly garden and reptile house in a small private wildlife preserve across from "Si Como No" hotel on the main road before the turn-off to Hotel Parador. Note that the hotel restaurant has two menus. Ask for the lunch menu (even at dinner) for lower priced but still excellent meal choices.
