Great spot in the south suberbs
Beautifully remodeled. Great view! Clean. Very attentive friendly staff. We arrived very early from a red eye flight and the staff was happy to put us in our room hours before regular check in. We called ahead to ask if this was an option. They made special notes and were prepared for us. Busy weekend but very quiet. Train tracks are close by but were not noticeable. Easy access down Cicero to Midway Airport and major Interstate highways. Thanks!

Pay the little extra for the "Executive" floor rooms. Super nice and price includes a full Breakfast.

Too Noisy--Unable to Sleep Well
I thought that the windows were open; however, they were not. The background noise is extremely loud. You can hear the Metra train honking its horn all night, as well as the traffic noise. When they remodeled the hotel, one would think that they would have installed better sound-proof windows, but they didn’t. I tried to drown out the noise by turning on the air, but the fan only kicks on when it needs to maintain the temperature. I couldn’t just have the fan on continuously. Otherwise, room was clean and the hotel offer good service. I stayed 2 nights with very little sleep, however. During my conference, other guests also complained about the noise.

A Decent Hotel with Good Amenities
First time staying anywhere in the area so I’m not sure about a baseline or anything to compare this against fairly. I do know that in regards to other Hilton Hotels I’ve stayed at, it was mediocre at best. My biggest complaints were the air conditioning unit (which didn’t aid in the room being comfortable) and the showerhead, which was one of the worst of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The lavatory did not have an exhaust fan, either, and that made it nigh impossible to ventilate the room and clear it of accumulated steam. Beds were decent, but very soft. My friend has a bad back and found it more comfortable to sleep on the floor because it gave him support. I didn’t have a problem in this regard, but soemthing to be aware of.
