Good Choice
After two weeks, first in Rome, then Florence and then in the Tuscan countryside, we stayed just overnight at the Mascagni before our flight back to the States. We chose it because it was close to the train station. During our original arrival and stay in Rome, we had chosen a hotel in Transtevere that was not well kept and not comfortable. Perhaps a little more than we would have liked to have spent and not sure about what the neighborhood was like, we had some trepidations before arriving. No need for that. The Mascagni was close to the train station as we had hoped, in a lovely neighborhood and, very comfortable with an accommodating staff.

Hotel Mascagni
I would definitely recommend this 4-star non-touristy hotel in the heart of Rome. The hotel is an even mix of contemporary and old-world Italian charm. My wife and I loved our stay.
