Good for the price
Hotel was not convenient for tourist activites, but was good choice for the price. At least 60 minutes from central London via bus/tube.

Visit to England 9/4-9/7/2009
A nice ’70’s looking white circular hotel located within eye and earshot of one of London’s busiest airport’s runways. Hotel’s check in staff is pleasant and willing to go the extra mile to make you happy. Elevators (lifts) have english female voice to tell you all that is going on (doors closing/opening, up/down, floors). Small bar and small restaurant are typically expensive.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
No car, low cash? No problem. Going to the subway (tube/underground) or Heathrow is free if you cross the street and wait for one of the busses that go to terminals 1, 2 and 3. If going to terminals 4 or 5, change at the bus depot for the free ’Heathrow Connect’ train.

Good place to stay
I thought the hotel was a good place to stay, close to a free bus which takes you to the airport terminals, or for 4 pound one can take the Hoppa Bus too which has more room for luggage. From the terminal at the airport one can easily get on the tube too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but drinks were incredibly expensive.
