Clean, comforable, great location
This hotel is in a great location for visiting London -- walk across Lambeth Bridge and there are the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey just a short walk away. Stay on the South Bank and walk along the Thames to the London Eye and theatres and music. The room was very clean and comfortable. An electric kettle and all the makings for tea and coffee were provided, along with cookies! A very good (although a bit pricy) breakfast buffet gives you a good start to the day (not included in room price) and room service dinner was delivered quickly and arrived hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I was really pleased with my choice of hotel.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Just across the street is the Garden History Museum, which has an excellent vegetarian cafe that is open for lunch and tea. I highly recommend it. You dont have to pay to enter the museum to go to the cafe. The museum itself is quirky and interesting if you like gardening.
