We Shall Return
We had a great experience at the aka-Rittenhouse. It was a busy weekend at the hotel and we were upgraded to the Penthouse! What a wonderful room. The location can’t be beat. Everything we wanted was within walking distance for this short visit to Philadelphia. We’ve stayed at many places in the Philadelphia area and I would definitely return. Negatives - Minor issues to us Continental breakfast was adequate but not outstanding. They never made it to our room the one day we were there. It could have been because we had to stay in the room until around 1PM that morning or because they are also a residence type of hotel for many. Wasn’t a big issue as there were plenty of towels. They provide a coffee maker in the room, but do not provide the coffee. They want you to go to the continental buffet to get your morning coffee. Staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate.

Convenient, nice and quiet
Not a lot of bells and whistles, but all you need. In the middle of all that mattered, but size allowed a sense of privacy. No large lobby, not a lot of entry appeal, yet neither was it a negative look. Size allowed avoidance of a sense of congestion at any point in the day, quiet and staff was most accomodating.
