Not impressed
Smoke detectors are right outside of the bathrooms. When taking a shower, the steam set off the alarm. Not a smart place for a smoke detector.

It’s worth the 15 minute ride.
When visiting my son at IUP I typically stayed at a hotel close to the school. While the Hampton Inn is a little further, it is well worth the few extra minutes. It was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it over the other choices in the Indiana area.
