Charging Error
I only had one problem when I stayed at the Wingate By Wyndham Abilene, the problem I had was in the billing. I needed to stay one extra night so that was done separate from my expedia billing. The bill the hotel gave me was correct but when I returned home and checked my bank account they had charged me a second time for the extra night and the second charge was at a higher price. I called and as of yet they have not credited back the money. The only reason I can’t recommend this hotel is because of this reason. I can’t recommend a hotel that doesn’t credit back a double charge right away! The hotel was a very nice hotel other than this problem. Although I would not pay more than I did for a nights stay. I was told by the hotel personal they would be going up on their prices. These are just the prices for now because they are new and they want people to come see the hotel.

Finding a haven in Abilene
My friend and I were taking a much needed "time out" from our hectic job schedules and were looking for a relaxing haven. We wanted to get away for the weekend and feel pampered. We did! The hotel was wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. Thank you.
