Great value -- superb location!
The hotel is perfectly located: just steps away from everything you would want to see. The rooms are small but fine. If you can, try to get something on a high floor with a view. Definitely a good value for the price.

great stay in istanbul
i highly recommend this hotel, especially for the price. the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is plentiful and extensive (not just carbs), the location is great, and it was pretty quiet, especially in the back of the hotel. i stayed again on my return through istanbul and they kindly upgraded my room. they also have free internet in the room, which is always great for us business travelers. overall, an excellent stay.

this is a great location for the key sights - blue mosque, hagia sophia, etc.

Perfect location , though expensive for what you get
Tria has an outstanding location in Old Istanbul, just steps from Aya Sophia and Blue Mosque and near restaurants and shops.The rooms are not what is shown on pictures but bed is confortable, sheets and towels are clean and bathroom is big. The manager will need to pay more atention to cleanness of bathrooms. Nights can be noisy when parties from nearby hostels take place. Breakfast is plentiful and satisfying. View from the terrace is awesome. People from the front desk were not very kind niether helpful. We booked with them a transfer to the airport and the transport didn`t show up on time, so finally we took a cab but we lost our flight and had to pay a penalty for changing the flght. Will the hotel pay for that? I don`t think so. So in summary, if your preference is location, a confortable bed and a good breakfast: this is THE hotel. But don`t count on the personnel until the manager does some feedback on them.
