Not as accessible as others - you need to be able to climb a hill.
A very clean and well-managed hotel with an excellent breakfast included in the price. The location is not picturesque and a little off the beaten path. There are many more attractive neighborhoods in which to stay in Lisbon. But if you dont mind climbing the hill to the Principe Real area, or climbing the hill from Avenida da Liberdade to the hotel, its an OK place to stay.

Not fancy but comfortable
The hotel is new and well-maintained. The staff were helpful although breakfast opened a few minutes late. The rooms are small in line with most European city hotels. The hotel is within easy walking distance (15 mins with kids) from the city center. The immediate neighborhood is ok but with some run down looking buildings around.

Cozy, comfortable, would go back
I stayed for 9 nights on vacation. Id booked a standard room, but was given a suite with a beautiful view of the city. The staff was courteous and helpful (one caveat, noted below). The hotel is situated just between the Bairro Alto area and the main Avenida Liberdade thoroughfare downtown, a convenient location for eating, shopping, and catching the Metro and/or other public transit -- just be prepared to do a bit of walking up/down the hill (a few hundred yards of sloping twists and turns). Breakfast was par, but not bad, made hot and fresh to your order in the morning. Caveats: (1) Id mentioned that I needed to check out quite early in the morning and would like assistance in calling a cab at that time, as well. When I got downstairs around 5:00AM the morning of, there was no one to be found at the front desk (I checked all around, in the back as well). I simply left my room key and was lucky enough to hail a passing cab on my way down the hill. (2) By far, the loudest door locks Ive ever had to deal with. You can hear everyone that comes and goes at all hours (not a real problem for me in the suite, as the bedroom is in a separate room with a door between, but this may be an issue for light sleepers staying in a standard room).
