a nice place to stay
the front desk is very helpful. room is clean but a little small. the location is not bad (walking distance to beach). will come back again.

King size bed,..... maybe on a cruise ship.
Great location, but the service was lacking. The breakfast was stale. Great parking for Carmel. it was worth staying if you want a deal. Beware of the king size bed. It is not king size. It was a standard or maybe queen. Not suggested for the average size couple. The room was the smallest Best western I have stayed in counting 14.
Traveler's tip on dining
Check out Mission Ranch for dinner. Its pricey long wait but worth every penny for a romantic dinner date.

Small and Basic
This property is right in the middle of Carmel-By-The-Sea. It is in walking distance of everything downtown. However, it is an old, small place. Parking lot is a tight squeeze to get in & out of, room was small, bathroom was small. But it worked well as my home base while in the area for a wedding.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
A nice central coast location that was convenient for my activity in Pebble Beach. If you’re here, go up the road and check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Tons of cool stuff! And lots of golf in the area, too!!
