Good choice
The staff was efrficient and smiling. The hotel was clean and efficient, not luxury but good price / quality. Nice pool and fitness center. The area is probably better for tourism than business as it is far from most offices areas.

Good Hotel and a Good Price
I thought I was staying in the Four Points located in Khalid Bin Walid Street but when the cab dropped me off to the this hotel on Mankhool road I was disappointed as their was nothing near the Hotel. It’s in a residential area. However, once you enter the hotel, it’s a new, trendy, shick hotel with all the conviniences a tarveler needs less the hassle and noise of the streets. Taxi’s are standing by so wether it was getting a taxi at 5 AM or 12 mid-night I did not have a problem. The hotel food is decent... but could use some variety.... You get free internet access in the lobby so the lobby was bustling with laptop toting business men & women.... I would stay here again...

Risky place for female travellers
In the U.A.E., the four star hotels are responsible for providing visa support (processing visas) for guests who do not have a tour package. My friend (a female) and I stayed here. Prior to our stay working with the staff was a complete nightmare to. First they claimed we had insufficient documentation and I had to waste half a day running around making photocopies of passports, photocopies of my credit card, providing scans and faxes, etc. Finally, they simply said "we have decided not to assist in obtaining the visa for your female travel companion". I asked why? They said they had to worry about the reputation of the hotel. I offered to book a second room for her but they refused. We were not refunded so we had to book a second four star hotel (four stars are the only hotels which are required to provide visa assistance) just in order to get the visa for my girlfriend. So if you are a female be careful with this hotel. I spoke with the head of visa-processing department at this Sheraton Dubai hotel. Also, the pool was closed for cleaning the whole time we were there (the pool photos are what made us choose this hotel in the first place). When we checked in, the staff were very nosy; almost interrogating us as to our plans that night. The room was clean. This hotel is not representative of the quality I am used to with Sheraton.
