Excellent stay!
We stayed at the Sofitel just recently and everything was pretty much perfect. The location is great as it’s only a few blocks from the heart of the city and close to many parks and great restaurants. I am from Melbourne originally and appreciated the stunning views from our room. My wife is from the USA and she was very impressed with everything also. The only negative was the fact that smoking is allowed in the bar which drifts up inside the hotel. We didn’t notice it constantly but now and again when we left the room we could smell it on our way to the elevator....all in all it did not ruin our great experience! The breakfast buffet is well worth it and is an awesome place to look over the entire city.
