Swans come right up to the window!
I can’t say enough good about the Botel (Ristaurante) Matylda! The room was so nice! We had a view of the castle and architecture across the river and every morning we made sure we had bread to feed the swans out our window! The staff are very nice which is rare in the town itself. The owner was very helpful and he provides umbrellas: I highly suggest you take one! The breakfast is fabulous too! He will be adding another botel soon with even bigger rooms! I can’t wait to go back. I may not get off the boat!
Traveler's tip on dining
Stay on the Botel to eat! Everything else is either bad tourist food or uber expensive! The Botel restaurant staff are very nice and attentive and the food is fantastic!
